3. TEACHING PLAN
3.1 Curriculum
Future Integrated School in Vietnam adopts a curriculum developed by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, which focuses on holistic development of students’ competencies. The curriculum integrates academic knowledge with practical skills, encouraging creativity, collaboration and problem-solving. With a project-based learning approach and the use of technology in teaching, the school aims to prepare students for global challenges and the future world of work, while strengthening Vietnamese cultural values and identity.
3.2 Teaching Plan Related to My Major
As an exchange student participating in the SEA Teacher Batch 10 program in Vietnam, I had the opportunity for approximately one month to teach 4 times at Future Integrated School, Vietnam. This program provides an opportunity to teach directly at school. At Future Integrated School I was assigned to teach mathematics at the elementary school level, namely in class 1R for 2 times and 2G for 2 times.
Before conducting a demo teaching session, each student is required to create a detailed lesson plan. This is important to ensure that learning objectives can be achieved and the teaching methods used are effective. I feel that this process is very useful because it provides an opportunity to plan fun and educational activities for students. In my lesson plan, I focused on the use of visual aids and math games to make learning more interesting.

During the demo teaching, I felt very happy and excited. During the teaching process, I tried to create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere, where students felt comfortable to actively participate in learning. In addition, I used various teaching methods that encouraged student involvement, such as group discussions and educational games.
One of the things that made this experience even more valuable was the presence of my supervisor, Miss Lam. He provided great support throughout the demo teaching process, from preparation to implementation. With the guidance and advice he gave, I felt more confident in teaching. The feedback received after the teaching session was also very helpful in identifying areas for improvement, as well as improving my teaching skills in the future.
Overall, the experience in the SEA Teacher program was very meaningful for me as a prospective educator. I was happy because the lesson plans I made were in line with the major I took. This teaching experience in Vietnam not only enriched my pedagogical skills but also gave me new insights into a different education system. With the support of supervisors, teachers from the school, and the opportunity to interact directly with students, I was even more motivated to continue learning and developing as a teacher.
